Cuppies, Cuppies, who doesn’t love cuppies! Whether for a wedding, birthday, or special occasion like a graduation…. cupcakes are always a hit with guests!
First up is Teresa and Sean’s wedding cuppies, with a topper cake… in purple and white with silver accents, and a rose theme
Next up… Robin ordered Graduation themed cuppies for her daughter Tiffany’s High School graduation….
And then… Jocelyn and Douglas’ wedding cuppies were very floral motiffed (is that a word?? haha!) uhhh, had a floral motif.
two “special ones” for the couple
and the whole set up
And, last but not least!, Arya’s second birthday “Choo-Choo” cuppies!
I had the distinct pleasure of being a part of Donnie and Greg’s wedding this past summer. Donnie and Greg found me via Greg’s brother Ben… when i did Ben and Ashley’s wedding. You might remember Ben and Ashley from this post I completely enjoy this family and was THRILLED to be asked to do cupcakes and cake pops for this special celebration!
The theme for the wedding was “Picnic” and Greg’s mom Lisa supplied me with tons of inspiration and guidance on how to carry out the theme. Loved working with her and the group as a whole. The color palette was red, purple and black (for a little masculinity), with lots of gingham pattern, and lots of fun! Well, cupcakes and cake pops automatically say fun, so it was not hard to fit that in!
Here are some snapshots of how it all came together ….
I’ve been doing these little “menu cards” lately for cupcake and cakepop orders…. love how it helps guests ID what’s what!
and more fabulous details from this AHHHDORABLE event!
As the guests arrived, they needed to be directed to another area of of the site for the ceremony….
Yes, this is a gay wedding. Yes, this couple has a fantastic sense of humor. YES, i LOVE THIS!
My sincere and warm wishes to Donnie and Greg for a wonderful marriage! I also hope that soon the whole US will follow suit with the states that have marriage equality laws in place. I believe that all couples, regardless of race, religion, or gender have the right to freely express their love as wish! Love = Love!
Francisco surprised his wife Sondra with a cake in her FAVE flavor (“Irish Creme”) for her 30th birthday! He wasn’t entirely sure how to have me decorate the cake (a common situation for husbands lol!) so i asked him to covertly send me a link to her Pinterest page to give me some ideas on her “style”…. i determined she likes navy blue, feminine chic and ruffles. Here’s what i came up with!
Tammy threw her friend Juan a 50th Birthday celebration party with a “Cuban” theme….
I’ve had the pleasure of doing cakes for the Portier family for a long time now…. I think the first cake i did for them was for eldest daughter Amanda’s 5th or 6th birthday…. now shes a TEEN! Busy mom Brenda gave me “bakers choice” on the decoration, so I did what i would like if i was a teen girl again…. soft mint and gold, with feminine ruffles
